Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
You'll begin your journey in Tangier and head to Chefchaouen , the famous blue-walled city nestled in the Rif Mountains . You'll spend the day exploring the charming streets, visiting the Kasbah , and soaking up Chefchaouen's unique atmosphere.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
You'll leave Chefchaouen and head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis . Explore the well-preserved archaeological site before continuing on to Fes , one of Morocco's most culturally rich cities .
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Camel trek in Merzouga
Start your day in Fes and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains . You'll pass through Ifrane , famous for its Swiss-style architecture , and Azrou , where you can meet the friendly Barbary macaque monkeys . You'll continue through the picturesque Ziz Valley until you reach Erfoud . From there, you'll embark on a camel trek through the dramatic dunes of Merzouga , where you'll spend the night in a desert camp .
Day 4: Merzouga – Zaida – Meknes
Wake up early to admire the magical sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga . After breakfast, you will leave the desert and cross Zaida . You will then continue towards the imperial city of Meknes , known for its grandiose architecture, historical sites and the famous Bab Mansour gate .
Day 5: Meknes – Rabat
You'll further explore Meknes, visiting attractions such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the fascinating Royal Stables . Afterwards, you'll continue to Rabat , Morocco's capital. Spend the rest of the day exploring Rabat's historic sites, including the Kasbah of Chelalh , the Hassan Tower , and the fascinating Kasbah of the Udayas .
Day 6: Rabat – Tangier
On your last day, take some time to visit the attractions in Rabat you haven't yet seen. Afterward, return to Tangier, where you can catch your return flight or continue your journey.
