Tour from Tangier to Marrakech and the Merzouga Desert

You will explore Morocco's imperial cities and the desert on this fantastic trip from Tangier.

Day 1: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca

You'll begin your journey in Tangier, visiting the charming coastal town of Asilah . From there, you'll continue to Rabat , Morocco's capital , before ending the day in Casablanca .

Day 2: Casablanca – Essaouira

From Casablanca you will travel to Essaouira , a beautiful coastal city renowned for its beaches, medina and Portuguese architecture.

Day 3: Essaouira – Marrakech

You will spend the morning exploring Essaouira, then head to Marrakech , one of Morocco's most popular tourist destinations , famous for its vibrant markets, palaces and gardens.

Day 4: Marrakech

You will have a full day at your disposal to explore its iconic sites, such as the Bahia Palace , the Koutoubia Mosque , the Majorelle Gardens and the lively Djemaa el-Fna square .

Day 5: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou

You will leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains , stopping in Telouet to visit the historic Kasbah of Glaoui . The day will end in Ait Ben Haddou , a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its well-preserved kasbah.

Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

You'll continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains, crossing the evocative Dades Gorges and the Todra Gorges . From there, you'll head towards Erfoud and finally reach Merzouga , where you can experience the Sahara Desert and enjoy a camel ride.

Day 7: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Departing from Merzouga, you will cross the picturesque Ziz Valley , pass through Midelt and continue to Azrou , known for its cedar forests and friendly Barbary macaque monkeys . The day will end in Ifrane , often called "Little Switzerland," before reaching Fes , Morocco's cultural capital.

Day 8: Fes

You will have a full day at your disposal in Fes to explore its medieval medina , visit historic sites such as the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

Day 9: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

You'll leave Fes to visit the nearby city of Meknes , known for its imperial history and impressive architecture. From there, you'll continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before reaching the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen .

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Tangier

On your final day, you'll have time to explore the blue streets of Chefchaouen and its charming atmosphere. Afterwards, you'll return to Tangier , where you can catch your return flight or continue your journey.
